Can't go wrong - any occasion should have Houston's on the list. Nice enough for a formal, romantic dinner and casual enough for lunch at the bar.

When it comes to food - this is the one restaurant that is always consistent and spot on! Everything comes out fresh and each menu item is more delicious than the next.

The restaurant only takes reservations through the RESY app, and I would highly recommend reservations as there's never been a time I've visited and there hasn't been a wait.

We were seated immediately upon arriving due to our reservations and got to sit in a booth which is roomy providing ample amounts of space for all the food we had coming.

To start we had the Spinach & Artichoke Dip, the Thai Crunch Sushi roll and the Coconut Shrimp Roll. Now you may think, sushi at a steak restaurant sounds weird, but you'd be making a mistake! Absolutely delicious, we ran out of chips and had some of the artichoke dip left - the waitress offered to bring more chips to allow us to finish off the dip at no cost. The sushi was phenomenal, a unique taste with each bite provides for an experience leaving you questioning not why they have sushi, but if you should order more.

For entrees we had the chicken salad, ribs, the French dip sandwich and the chicken sandwich.

Now the ribs are an absolute must, the slightest touch and the bones are falling off - cooked to perfection and finger licking good.

The salad was the best restaurant salad we had ever tried - great dressings with juicy chicken made for a perfect combination.

The French dip and the Chicken sandwich were both delicious, and at their price point make for a great choice.
The French Dip comes with both Au Jus and HorseRadish for dipping, and once soaked in the Au Jus, dip it into some HorseRadish to make it just right. The Chicken Sandwich comes with slaw, a slice of tomato and cheese and you can't go wrong - both are great choices.

We ended our dinner experience with the Cobbler - and although we were all more than full, we couldn't stop ourselves from reaching for one more spoon - a great way to cap the evening.

Great staff, amazing food and a beautiful setting make Houston's the perfect spot for any occasion!

My bf took me here for the very first time for my birthday and I absolutely is in love! Pro tip is to make reservations ahead of time because they are always so stinkin busy!

    Food:
We ordered the Hawaiian Ribeye and the Filet Mignon. Both dishes were amazing and I can't wait to go back already! The hawaiian rib eye reminds me of the sugar steak we had in Denver that I've been trying so hard to find here and it was a perfect marinade for a steak! It was sweet and salty, with a nice asian touch! The filet mignon was so tender and we added some pepper on it as well, so it really brought out the flavors of the steak!  Both dishes also come with potatoes which is perfect for carbivores! I actually really liked the baked potato even more than the mashed. Again, amazed.

Service was great. We heard that it is kind of slow so right when we sat down, we ordered and were good to go. We also ordered a red wine and that was so divine with our steak! They also messed up our drinks so we received a daiquiri and it has a really nice light touch! We definitely enjoyed our boozy dinner over some yummy red meats. Spoil yourself. Come try this place!

Parking may look like a pain but they have additional lots right next door for free.

    Dear Houston's.

    I have questions
    About how you've managed

    To Capture intention
    In a moment

    All the minor details
    evoke major senses

    Our dining table
    Is a stage.
    That looks like
    There should be characters
    Speaking monologues
    To our food

    Dimly lit lights
    Comfortably spaced tables
    Make dining
    A personal exchange again

    A candle flickering
    In the corner,
    Why does it feel like
    You knew I would
    Be coming

    You even made sure
    The community was kind

    Can we keep in touch?

    A vortex is defined
    As a place on earth
    That experiences
    A high level of
    Aliveness...as displayed
    By the beauty that
    Can be seen
    Is this Sedona?

    Mahogany pillars
    The color of earth,
    A white orb
    Slashed with tribal
    War paint that would be
    Out of place anywhere else,
    Rests in the middle...

    A black bear
    Oil painting
    Looks at me solemnly
    from The wall

    All these details
    Small complex reminders
    The present is
    Adorned with beauty.

    Great place for steak!

I've heard great things about Houston's so I decided to take my family out here for lunch. I made a reservation in case there was a wait, but it wasn't necessary when we arrived.

We took some time to look over their menu as they had a good list of entrees on their. Everything listed sounded very appetizing. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip, the BBQ pork ribs, rotisserie chicken, roasted prime rib, and the prime filet.

Food took roughly 20-25 minutes. Glad we ordered the soinach artichoke dip to fill our stomach a bit before the main entree! The spinach dip was very good. Tasted lioe how spinach artichoke dip should taste. Haha.

Roasted prime rib: The prime rib with served with a side of mashed potatoes. I believe we had subbed a different side for mashed potatoes. My mom ordered this entree and it was cooked her liking, well done. Lol. The rib was seasoned perfectly. Juicy and tender. The mashed potatoes were soo good also. It was fluffy and tasty!!

Prime filet: This, I had cooked to medium. It was cooked to my request. Yas! Steak was seasoned perfectly. It was served with a side of cole slaw and mashed potatoes. The cole slaw was very good. I thought it was better than the mashed potatoes. Haha.

BBQ pork ribs: The ribs were so tender, it literally fell off the bone. The taste was there. I haven't had awesome BBQ
So, I will say this is the best ribs I've had in my life! Lol. This was served with fries.

Rotisserie chicken: When you have a non beef eater, they'd go for chicken.. It definitely applied to one of my family member haha. The chicken was not dry, surprisingly. Instead, it was tender. Not much to say about chicken, but it tasted like chicken!

Service was great. Very attentive and patient.
Parking was easy. Houston's has their own lot.

Highly recommend trying Houston's at least once!

Had a 10pm reservation on a Saturday night. They close and lock the doors at 10:05, so it's hard to understand why they'd accept reservations until 10. (Most places have at least a 10 minute grace period). We made it right on time, luckily.
Food is pretty good but I wish it didn't cost $25 for an average burger meal. Besides that, the ambiance is nice and it's dimly lit inside.
